Este año vuelve a entrarnos las ganas de juntarnos en torno a lo que nos motiva:
el hacktivismo, el ciberespacio, la cultura del software y el hardware libres...
Un fin de semana autogestionado en el que compartir experiencias y proyectos
tecnopolÃticos.
El HackMeeting se compone de una serie de nodos (talleres, charlas) autonomos y
entrelazados. Cualquiera puede proponer o presentar un nodo.
No hay una idea preconcebida de qué va a ser este hackmeeting. Hacking y
hacktivismo en un sentido amplio: hacking de maquinas y protocolos pero también
de códigos sociales y de la manera de entender y usar la tecnologÃa. Ven y
comparte tus hacks (informáticos o no) de mentes e ideas vÃricas. Copyfight,
redes distribuidas, hardware libre, inventos o música, debates o talleres... Ven
y cuéntalo: propón tu nodo! o desea un nodo.

Cómo proponer un nodo

Para proponer un nodo para el próximo Hackmeeting, envÃa la propuesta a la lista
de correo (hackmeeting@listas.sindominio.net) incluyendo la etiqueta [nodo] en
el asunto.
Si quieres ver la evolución de tu propuesta, puedes leer las respuestas que
genera tu mensaje en el archivo de la lista o bien suscribiéndote y
participando en la asamblea telemática como una más:

Espera unos dÃas (2-4) y si nadie expresa ningún inconveniente, como es lo

Otras formas de participación aparte de los nodos de actividades (como aportar
material, participar en las asambleas, coordinar actividades, hacer streaming,
traducciones, etc.) son bienvenidas y necesarias. Para más información y
coordinación la asamblea del Hackmeeting se reúne telemática y permanentemente
en la lista de correo hackmeeting @ sindominio.net. Podéis suscribiros
libremente aunque sea sólo por ver cómo gestionamos el encuentro y de paso

El primer hackmeeting se hizo en Florencia el 1998 y desde entonces se han ido
repitiendo anualmente en Italia (la web http://hackmeeting.org recoge el último
HM celebrado en Italia y enlaces a todos los anteriores). El 2000 se celebró el
primer hackmeeting hispanoparlante en Barcelona y hemos ido repitiendo el
encuentro todos los años.

One more time, this year, we keep joining energies to gather around what
motivates us most: hacktivism, cyberspace, free-software culture and free
hardware... A self-organized and self-managed weekend to share technopolitic
experiences and projects.
The Hackmeeting is made out of a network of autonomous Nodes (workshops, talks,
round tables, experiments, meetings, etc.). Anybody can bring her node to the
hackmeeting and take part.
There is no valid preconception of what this hackmeeting is going to be. Hacking
and hacktivism in a wide (and wilde!) sense: machine and protocol hacking but
also of social codes, of ways of envisioning, using and understanding technology.
Come and share your hacks (computational or not), open your mind, spread your
viral ideas. Copyfight, distributed networks, free hardware, new inventions,
music, debates, workshops... come and tell, make your node happen!

How to propose a node

If you want to propose a node for the Hackmeeting, send a proposal to the
mailing list (hackmeeting@listas.sindominio.net) with the tag "[nodo]" on
the email header.
If you want to see the replies to your proposal, you can see the mailing-list
archive or subscribe yourself to the list here:

but people do understand english and will be happy to answer to your questions)
Wait for a couple of days and if you see no reaction agains your node, as is
usually the case, then move into filling up the following wiki-form:

Forms of participating in the hackmeeting, other than organizing nodes, are
more than welcome: bring your own hardware to share, take part at the meetings,
coordinate activities, translating, radio-video streaming, cleaning, etc.
