For over a year now, we have been developing our workshops. Since June05 we have been imparting workshops in various contexts, from self-organized and queer to high profile artistic. The workshops have been a huge success, leading to more invitations.
Now we would like to continue developing new workshop ideas (more complex workshops, working with food grade silicon, mold making, higher level electronics, etc.), which requires time and resources for materials, tools, and the development time.
At the same time, we would like to tour the project. We have made contacts in south America and would like to give some workshops there. We try, whenever it is possible, to have the workshops financed either by the participants or by the inviting organization, at least in terms of materials, so that the project requires only the funds for the development stage of the workshops.
Unfortunately, this is not always possible, and sometimes the most interesting contexts are precisely those who have no resources. This is the case of Chile, a catholic and highly sexist society. We are encountering great difficulty in finding an organization that can finance our travel due to the nature of the project.
